A day of Maiko
Wake up

The schedule of the class is depends on. Sometimes learn by watching from senior dance, sometimes the master tell strictly.
She try to be better even a little bit.
Lunch
Sometimes go back to Okiya for lunch and sometimes go out with other Maiko to eat outside. In that case, they eat pasta, café and others as a normal girl.
Practice
There is not time to take a nap.
These hours learn instrument playing class, dancing, etc.
Return back to Okiya and take a rest for a shor time then prepare for Ozashiki party.
Prepare the hair where is deformed, put Kanzashi, and start make up. Paint the neck, behind and face with white foundation. After eye lining and putting rouge, there is a professional Maiko in there.
To put Kimono ask help of man who is specialized for that.
The Kimono belt for Maiko has 5 meters long so if not a man is not possible to handle.
The kimono is choosing and preparing by Okami of Okiya. The maintenance of Kimono have to do by herself. A sweet Maiko is ready!

A holiday of Maiko
The holiday of Maiko is second and forth Sunday. It means 2 days off in a month. Other holidays are after Miyako Odori 5-6 days, during the summer 3-4 days, and the end of the year has about 10 days off.
Comparing with other jobs, the number of holiday is so little.
The ways to spend the holidays are the same as a normal girl.
They go to cine, shopping and trip if there are days.
Additionally, they will have normal hair style during the off and wear occidental clothes.
